J.J. Abrams reveals what Finn wanted to tell Rey in ‘The Rise of Skywalker’

Director .J.J. Abrams has has answered one of the questions left open after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which is what exactly Finn was trying to tell Rey when he thought they were going to die early on in the film.

In the scene in question, Finn calls out a strangled “Rey, I never told you but —” before being sucked into the planet’s surface, where he presumes he will be dead. Moments later, all our heroes emerge underground, unscathed, and Finn’s outburst has both Poe and Rey curious.  Read more…
