#MarchforSisterhood unites women and girls on International Day of the Girl

Girls Who Code, a nonprofit organization that aims to close the gender gap in technology by training girls in computer science, is taking the flurry of in-person marches on everything from climate change to perceived governmental corruption online during the International Day of the Girl, held on Oct. 11 annually.

The organization’s #MarchforSisterhood brings together girls, women, and allies all over the world to post videos of themselves marching for any cause they care about. Participants can post old videos of themselves marching or from the day of the online march, solo or in a group. Girls Who Code says, to their knowledge, this is the first-ever digital march.
