Shots fired near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, SUV breaches security, 2 female suspects in custody

A car chase ended with shots being fired near President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort Friday in Florida, police said.

Police fired shots at a black SUV that was being chased, then the pursued vehicle breached two security checkpoints at Mar-a-Lago. The vehicle fled, and was pursued and located.

Two people now in custody, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells ABC News.

Officials are still determining the details.

Friday, 1:45PM Eastern: FBI spokesman James Marshall told reporters just now they’re aware of an incident at Mar-A-Lago and have agents responding to the scene.
