Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore once said he thinks "homosexual conduct should be illegal." He's also said plenty of other racist and intolerant things — along with being accused of sexually assaulting teenage girls. Well, one man wasn't going to take it. Nathan Mathis, an Alabama farmer who lost his gay daughter to suicide, stood outside of Roy Moore's rally on Monday night, and spoke out against the candidate's homophobic comments. Here's the video, from Vaughn Hillyard of NBC News: Father, who says he's a local peanut farmer in Wicksburg, outside Roy Moore rally talks about losing his gay daughter at age of 23 to suicide. "I was anti-gay myself. I said bad things to my daughter, which I regret." pic.twitter.com/J0oOU0EJI2 — Vaughn Hillyard (@VaughnHillyard) December 11, 2017 Read more… More about Republican Party, Alabama, Roy Moore, Culture, and Politics Source: http://mashable.com/2017/12/11/nathan-mathis-roy-moore-rally/ Tags: > Tech and Science | #ScienceTech, #news, #NewsDog, #TopNews, #LatestNews, News
